Stable Cottage - Self Catering Accommodation
Stable Cottage, as the name suggests, was converted into self-catering accommodation from the farm’s stables in 1988.
In order to take advantage of the views, the two bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor, and the living space and kitchen are on the first floor. There is also an additional toilet on the first floor, and a small utility area with washing machine and freezer on the ground floor.
Heating is by storage heater supplemented by an open fire in the open-plan living area. Hot water heating is by evacuated tube solar heating, with electrical back-up. The solar thermal system also supplies a heated towel rail in the bathroom.
